IS YOUR GYM LETTING YOU DOWN?

Most gyms don’t make it easy…

Does this sound familiar?

Do you feel like you’ve walked into an exclusive club that you’re paying for, but not really a member of…

  • Every time you look around, you see beautiful buffed people that won’t give you the time of day
  • You’re the only person there who doesn’t know what they’re doing.
  • Maybe they rushed you through a quick induction that left your head spinning like the pedals on an exercise bike
  • You’re self-conscious or anxious about getting involved and there isn’t much support – in fact, the staff are more preoccupied with the already fit people, you just feel like you don’t really fit in…

You desperately want to get in shape, but it seems too difficult a mountain to climb.

After a few weeks of trying your best, hitting the cross-trainer and treadmills or braving the weights room only to back out slowly when met with the icy glares of terrifying behemoths, you finally give up.

Enough is enough, you retreat to the safety of home. Perhaps you’ve tried the internet for advice. Workout videos on YouTube. Free E-book downloads of the latest fitness program. Fitness forums…

They don’t work either, so you keep your gym membership rolling…

…I’ll go back next week.

Next week turns into the next week, into the next week…

That’s how some gyms operate. They rely on a high percentage of people being like you. Not attending, but paying up month after month, all the while feeling more and more guilty.

Some gyms won’t contact you after a while.

They don’t want you to wake you up incase you cancel your membership. Why would they stop their gravy train?

That’s the bitter truth. Some gyms don’t really care about you or helping people to get fit. They only care about their bottom line.
